The Weidmann modular INSULOGIX-T3 is the 3rd Generation multichannel transformer winding hot spot monitoring system for utility level transformer and reactor health monitoring. The INSULOGIX ® T provides monitoring capabilities which directly reduce the risk of transformer failure. It offers reliable fiber optic hot spot temperature monitoring, with the option to measure up to sixteen temperature points. Once installed, the InsuLogix® T continuously monitors winding temperatures, with no action required by the operators.

The measurement principle is based on the inherent optical properties of gallium arsenide (GaAs) with temperature. The TS Trafo temperature sensors and Winding Smart Spacers provide a turn-key solution for internal transformer mounting of sensors.

The fiber optic thermometer INSULOGIX-T3 is available with up to 16 measurement channels based on 4-Channel Modules. For connection into SCADA systems, the product overs options for either RS485/ModbusRTU or Ethernet/ModbusTCP interface. Every channel includes a 4-20mA output as well as  programmable control relay. Software support is available for interfacing into your network environment.

Calibration Interval Under normal use, the instrument does not require recalibration. When sensors and cables are changed, a One-Point Calibration is required. Recommended calibration interval is 12 months for ISO quality systems.
